Hi,
I'm looking to put all my grand parents' vintage (50's-70's) slides into digital form via computer. The slides seem to be somewhere between 1 7/8" and 2".
My question to you guys is...What is a half way decent scanner for converting these into digital images? Basically I want to pay...
Hey guys...quick question here...
Just got my dad a Dell laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium, and he has decided he wants Windows 7 Ultimate instead. Instead of opting for the Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade...I thought I would just get an actual oem copy of windows 7 Ultimate for a bit more so...
Now I'm trying to figure out how to take a whole folder structure (genre, artist, album) of 100+ CD's of flac and convert them to to an identical folder structure of VBR MP3's using EAC?...Rather than reinserting the CD's a second time for ripping the MP3's.
After reading that guide you linked...
I'm sorry...I didn't word that properly.
I'm creating two seperate collections (one for my portable player, and one to store on my HDD)
I'm ripping CD's (WAV) to flac to archive on my HDD, and then ripping those same CD's over again to 320 bit rate MP3. So two seperate conversions directly...
Yeah, I'm using 320 bit rate MP3's to put on my Sansa Clip 8GB....then I'm also converting them to flac to archive them.
As to whether I am converting them CBR or VBR....I couldn't seem to find anything regarding these in the compression options?
Thanks,
Eli
Hey guys - quick question here.
I don't know if anyone of you are familiar with EAC (Exact Audio Copy) ???
Anyhow, I'm using EAC w/ LAME Encoder to rip my cd collection. Everthing is working just fine except for one thing...I have it set to rip at a 320 bit rate, but instead of...
right on...I just wish there were more reviews on the av123 speakers:(
The little bit I have heard about them is usually positive...and I know I'd have a hard time finding a decent set of tower speakers for $300...even used:)
I just might have to get them!
Thanks,
Eli
cool:)
Yeah, I was browsing this page:
http://www.av123.com//index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=51&Itemid=37
And noticed that there are two different ELT525 towers, the only difference seems to be the veneer, but they are charging $500 more for the rosewood...
Does anyone have any experience with the X series speakers from AV123? I'm looking for a set of floorstanding speakers, and they are selling the X-sls Encore as well as the ELT525T Towers for under $300 a set?
I couldn't find many customer reviews on the speakers, but from the commercial...
This is going to cost more than I expected. Think I could get by with a power supply like this?
