Memory and cpu Timings are all stock, but I'll double check that in bios and try flashing as well

    Weird power on issue

Good morning everyone, I've had a weird power on issue with my current PC that's been happening since I built it two years ago, I believe system board is an Asus z97a, I've tried stock bios settings and messing with them and get the same results, so I'm thinking maybe it's a hardware or wiring...

I ordered this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128018 There doesn't seem to be any information on the revision, I e-mailed newegg for some clarification and will get the 3.3 one way or another. From a cost perspective waiting would certainly be the best, money...

I just noticed something, due to the e6750 having 1333 mhz fsb, and the gs3 only supporting 1066, it seems they are incompatible. Anyone know if this is truly the case, or a possible workaround, or will I need to get a different motherboard?

    Computer Restarts Randomly

I've had this problem a few times before, turned out my fairly new memory was bad and got increasingly worse. Run a Memtest86 with a floppy on bootup, if there's any errors your memory is bad.

Alright, so looking at the gigabyte ds3, evga 8800gts 640mb, e6750, 2 gigs of ocz 4 latency pc6400 for $800 on newegg, looks to be a good deal for what I want. Would one think that this setup could last for latest dx10 games on medium-high settings (little or no AA but high AF) at 1920x1200 for...

I have an Athlon 64 3700+, ATI X800XT AGP AIW, 2 gigs of pc3200 in dual channel, asus a8v, win xp pro. I'm aiming for upgrading to something that will yield at least a 2x-3x performance increase in games that should hold future proof for dx10 games for a year or so. I'm not looking for a...

    local FTP transfers extremely slow

Update, when routing to my ftp from the other box, on that box only, the speed is up to 1.8 megabyte/s, and with my friends mac running win xp routing to the ftp, its at 3 megabyte/s, I also tried using serv-u instead of bulletproof with no improvement, I am thinking this is perhaps a router...

    local FTP transfers extremely slow

I have been having an issue with my local ftp (basic set up of computers to a single 4 port router to modem) when transferring files from my ftp on 192.168.1.100 to my other computer at 192.168.1.101, it's only transferring at 200k/s despite both having 100 base t, and connecting to the ftp via...

Norm Dalgarno Meta42 amp for sale

I have an original Meta42 with el2001 buffers made by Norm Dalgarno about 3 years ago for sale, it is excellent condition, no scratches, and has never been dropped. It has powered my Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro's, and now Sennheiser H650's quite well, but have decided to sell it for the ease of a...

    Odd Internet freezing glitch

I tried removing Java and flash player from add/remove, and removed everything from downloaded program files and restarted fire fox, it still does the freeze, for a while it only lasted a second so I thought it was fixed, but is apparently back to 10 seconds.
