Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
32gb certainly isn't the maximum size you can have. I have a 500gig external drive hooked upto my 360 that is formatted in FAT32 with one big partition.
The only problem is Windows will only format a 32gb Partition. Other programs will format larger partitions.
TBH, I love mine. It saves...
Hi guys,
I'm finally upgrading my rig this weekend and would appreciate some advice on which direction to take with it. I know for definite that I want an Intel Core2 processor and a decent Nvidia Graphics Card with a minimum of 2 gig of ram. I'm just pretty confused about motherboards and...
It's true, they don't. However, they did go on to release Hellgate : London which was a complete failure of a game.
Proof really that they weren't as much of a driving force behind the diablo series as they thought they were...
TBH, I only ever really encountered staff like that a couple of times while I worked at Game. Maybe I was lucky, because I had a couple of awesome managers who wouldn't put up with crap like that, but I have encountered that attitude in other game stores. The worst for it are the little "mom and...
Very well said. I'm now a retail manager, after a good four years of working as a sales assistant, both at Gamestop's UK equivalent - Game, and my current employer.
However, I simply do not understand this attitude, of "it's not wrapped in plastic, therefore it's not new". It's seriously only...
No, you can use any size drive. The only limitation is that WinXP will only create FAT32 partitions of 40GB or so in size I believe. Win98 will create a FAT32 partition of upto 127GB. If you want to create larger partitions then you need something like PartitionMagic will will happily create any...
Personally, I would be restricting his game time anyway. He is only 4 years old after all. I even think that an hour and a half a day is a bit much, but thats just me personally.
I would restrict him to an hour a day and gradually increase it as he gets older.
However, I do think that the...
I love topics like this. It really shows that some people need to realise that being a massive jerk to the guy behind the counter is not going to get you anywhere. Have you ever worked retail OP?
Your wife bought you a game 4 months ago, and you expect to just take it back and get equal value...
To my knowledge I only know of two games that have been refused a rating. Thrill Kill and Manhunt 2. Lets get it straight, they don't just refuse a rating and say tough luck. They go back to the publisher and say "here's a list of what we find wrong, fix that and we'll give it a rating". I for...
Further proof that she simply hasn't done any form of research.
You have Mallrats on the left, an 18 rated DVD, and on the right you have Bioshock, an 18 rated game. Both ratings have exactly the same symbol.
I honestly cannot believe someone can do so little research and get away with it.
There are two systems for rating videogames in the UK. You have PEGI, which is the European system, and the BBFC, which is UK only. PEGI ratings don't apply here, as they do not rate the type of videogame at...
Console gaming is going to die and be replaced by PC gaming is it?
Who are the people who come up with this crap, and why do people listen to them?
Lets ignore for just a second, that this is a highly specialised forum, and as such, most answers here are going to be biased.
Anyone who...
Hey guys,
The Laptop in question is pretty much boned I think. Theres graphical corruption in the BIOS screens, and Windows is exactly the same. I've narrowed it down to the Graphics Card (It's exactly the same problems on a seperate monitor).
Is there any way I can replace the card at...
