    What OS and Areca driver version are you using with your Areca 1680? Did you ever install another ECC DIMM in your card?

    I am asking because I have an Areca 1261ML running under linux with the latest arcmsr driver downloaded from Areca's web page (July 2010), and I just started seeing the 1-bit ECC error after I installed the new driver. So I am wondering whether it is really a hardware problem, or if perhaps the new driver I installed is incorrectly reporting an error.
