    Air Cooling at its FINEST!

lol, I tried this before, my comp usually sits at 28C idle, when i put the box fan on it it ran 20C idle, but i didnt really do anymore testing than that, its loud and stupid imo. Its 70F in my house almost all the time due to nice air conditioning :P (btw 60F is really cold from air...

    AMD xp 2400 overclock settings

Try giving the ram more volts, about 3.0v, if this doesnt work, just set it back. Also try upping the vcore to about 1.85 and see what you can get.

    New overclock, any good?

Decent, but if I were you I'd go for more overclock with more voltage, see what you can get with 1.75v in her.

Quick question are my temps normal?

First of all, 51C temp is not "fine", that is running pretty hot for mobiles seeing as most mobiles default on all the thermalright sp-97's ive seen run on them run at 30 - 35C. Might be something with your motherboard, it would also be helfpul to know what vcore you are at, if thats at 1.65v or...

    Fan for Thermalright SP-94

For a GREAT noise level and pushes a great amount of air, get the 92mm enermax fan w/ speed control, wonderful fan. For about 1 - 2C less than that, go with the Thermaltake Smart Fan 92mm at SVC.com for the blue LED version, or get the Smart Fan 2 for the nasty orange. :( The 117CFM 92mm...

    i got a 2200 35 watt cause the 2400 isn't listed on the egg

Already got results back from that chip, wouldn't do over 2.5 stable. He's got it running at 2.45 now because thats the highest stable clock he can get. I'd go to excalibur and get the 2600+ with the IQYHA stepping if any of you are out there planning on getting this really soon.

    Which XP-M?

How about temperatures with / without it? What are those like, as you can see I'm thinking about buying one myself now :p

    Overclocking mobile chips???

Only difference is that the 35w runs at lower voltage at stock speeds, but once you get to overclocking, I think its about the same, guy I know got one, didn't get over 2.5, but then I hear another story about someone getting 2.7 all on air cooling, all the mobiles are just the luck of the draw.
