Looks like it took completely frying my CPU to get the mobo to finally spit something out with the post reporter. "System failed CPU test." Looks like I know what I have to buy now. ;-)
I can try just about anything with the exception of a diferent processor. Both my roommates rock P4's. But, I'll be swapping hardware around all night. Will keep things updated.
My test with the second mobo doesn't mean a HUGE amount, I should say, since I swapped it out previously after I was having a ot of problems with it and couldn't run anything other than WinMe (There is no punishment worse than that. Even Linux refused to work with it.) It should at least POST...
Okay, so I took my system apart to do some work on the cooling inside my case. After it all got put back together... no post.

What's the right amount of water wetter to add to a water cooling setup? I've got the last of my parts in the mail now and am in the home stretch for all of this. Any ideas on how much is just right to add to my gallon jug of distilled water?
Was figuring that that was the best option (Rad -> CPU). Guess I'll have to do everything I possibly can to make it happen. This is gonna practically be a full circle to get it from my rad's barbs to those of the CPU block. Heh. ;)
Would Clearflex be a better tube in such a case as that?
Ah. Indeed. What about...
Pump -> CPU -> Rad -> Res -> Pump?
Looks like SYstem Cooling did it in a test of something here:

Okay, so I have most of my components on the way for my system and I have a rather cramped case that I'm going to be fitting all of them into. The rad is up top on my 120mm blowhole, but the nozzles are on the end facing the PSU because my drives get in the way on the other end. Basically, I...
Thanks for all the feedback, folks. I probably am going to go with a closed loop. Any reccomendations on a water block? What's the best on the market right now? Same goes for the pump, what are the top 3 in your opinion? I have a 120mm blowhole at the top of my case, so my rad will probably...
I really want to try out a water-cooled setup, but there is one thing on my mind that is holding me back: mobility. Can you still move your case around as much and bring it to LAN parties if you are rocking a water setup inside of it? WHat do all of you think? SHould this just be a stationary...
