For the [H]ard|DCer of the Year, there is no nomination thread because the only worthy candidates are the [H]ard|DCer of the Month winners for the current year.

The poll to choose a winner is done in 2 steps: The first poll will include all 12 winners for the current year and we select only the best 4 winners which will participate in the next round.

If there is a tie in the first 4 ranks, the tie winners will move together. In the second round, the one with the most votes will be declared the winner but if there is a tie, a runoff vote will be held.

Each step will last 10 days. Or thereabouts.

Time to vote! This is part one of two.

1 January firedfly - firedfly

2 February Fluxmaven - Fluxmaven

hmm the votes do seem to be proportional to the amount of trash posts.....

Too bad I can't just get free electric.... I mean I work at the plant making it, I should get some perks right?
It isn’t free yet, but in about 10 years I will be paying less than many other people! There are some other local residents complaining about $400+ electric bills.

My PG&E bill is consistently above $600. That does include EV charging though.

Don't get me wrong, my bill is high, but....... I'm folding, they're not

I know! F@H uses some juice! Numerous customers have been getting hit with high delivery charges, luckily I have not gotten those high delivery charges.

I put together a spreadsheet to track electrical use to see my usage pattern before (as far back as statements went) solar and now after solar. I am so glad I got solar when I did!
