• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

  • Hey Erek,

Recently I had a discussion about the memory voltage for DDR2 on NV30, since Quadro FX 1000 also have GC1K chips, but run them with 2.3 V@600 MHz. I am firmly convinced that Nvidia differs between 58U & QFX. The 58U should see the specs of 2.5 ±0.1 V for the 1,000 MHz - but that's just a guess on my part.

Since I don't have a working 58U, I'm looking for someone who can confirm or disprove this thesis.

Thanks for your reply! If you have the confidence to do so, by measuring the voltage in 3D on the card with a multimeter. I can help with the measuring points if required.

Set the multimeter to voltage mode

First tip against ground (ie IO-panel)

Second tip against VDDR (backside - just take the right one here)

Finally, the value of interest (QFX1000 here):

I would be very grateful if you could help me with this.
Hey Erek, I PM'd you. Don't want to reply in the thread because I don't want to violate the bumping frequency rules of the FS/FT subforum.
