I don't buy any of this crap--stuff doesn't go up 10x overnight. I think it's the same game being pulled in other industries--"jack it up as high as we can, profit and exit". From isps to grocery store chains, I see it everywhere, and I believe the CNBC analysis of 'consumers are complaining but they're still buying' hence this isn't stopping.

Smart business move for sure! It's like when Southwest bought fuel futures for their planes and weren't affected by fuel price increases for a few years.

There's a market for those too, but the demand is less even if the prices are nearly the same per GB as DDR5. Still will help keep a lot of systems alive though! (Including a lot of mine. :D)
