I've never played any of the previous GTA games and I'm hyped for GTA 6...Lucia is hot...good job Rockstar

Meh, looks ok but not earth shattering. Performance sure seems to be not great on the current gen consoles.

The two characters being able to hold hands while walking was impressive. Every other game usually cuts away or redirects so they don't have to show that collision.

I know this is a console build so maybe the PC version will look better, but some things look a bit dated. People and animations aren't that great. Gameplay looks predictably dated. GTA games were always overrated and I think this one will be as well. Not saying it will be bad and I do want to play it, just seems like the budget and development time will be very big for what looks like a game from 2010 or earlier gameplay wise. People look less detailed than Death Stranding, so hopefully the PC version looks better.

Game looks incredible but what even is this reflection? Why on earth would they include such muddy footage in their flagship trailer?

I think with GTA it's not about one thing like character models...it's the sum of its parts where the game taken as a whole looks really impressive (world design, exploration, open world etc)

If you think the industry has been in a drought for several years.....might be time to stop posting in gaming forums ;)
If you didn't notice the obvious downturn in the quality of games, maybe you are the one not qualified to post in gaming forums...Winkie face. /s

What do you even play? You're always there in every game topic, but then don't seem to play the games when they release.

GTA VI looks exactly what I'd expect from GTA, in a way it feels more GTA than GTA V was. Looking forward for the PC version, which I think will happen sooner than in the case of GTA V, they might even move up the timeline if they are unable to get the vegetable guy. Since apparently he has a working pc build, which he can choose to leek at any moment.

I don’t see the PC version releasing until the PS6/helix versions release at full price to force double sales. A typical Rockstar move. From what I’ve seen so far I plan to buy the PC version once I upgrade my GPU to RDNA5 or the nvidia equivalent.

If anything they should space them out for triple sales. Nobody on PC will pay $80 let alone $100 for a multiple year old game. Every day they delay on PC they loose more money.

I only played GTA 1 when it first came out... I lost count of how many hours i spent playing that game. I did play GTA 2 for a bit, but not as much. Never played anything after that. This looks... interesting, but half way through the 26min video, I just got bored from watching it. I never played any RDR either, so maybe it's just me.

Because in 2026 we shouldn't be accepting 30 FPS. Hell, these current-gen consoles were pushing that they could do 120 FPS.

I mean what do you expect when it's running on a gimped version of a 7 year old CPU.

It's running a lower clock speed and a couple cores are dedicated to the OS.

This is possibly the most ambitious game ever created. Is it that surprising that the simulation is expensive on shit hardware.

To get higher FPS quality has to go down. The console mfrs claiming 120FPS was before and on launch. It wasnt with AAAA titles pushing the boundaries. Rockstar has commited on high quality visual/30FPS over lower quality/60FPS. In due time better consoles will come out and be able to run the game at a higher rate without sacrificing quality. Bitching about a game thats made to last and be active for 10+ years, its truly ignorant to bitch about low FPS. If framerate still dictates every game you even look at then just wait for it to come out on PC.

What res does it run at 30 fps? If you run your tv or monitor at 1080p instead of 4k would it get higher fps? Been awhile since I've used a console lol.
Probably not at a fixed resolution but at dynamic scaling likely using checkerboard rendering.

most AAA games (especially GTA) are marketed towards Gen Z/Millennials

Even if the first GTA game you ever played was GTA V you're probably at least in your 30s now. The first games are now almost 30 years old themselves.

so you're saying that as games age the demographic for those games gets older?...so GTA 6 is mainly marketed for people in their 50's and above?...that's not the way it works...in movies and games there are reboots, remasters etc to get a new generation of players...every GTA game is its own thing and not dependent on having played the previous titles

so why aren't Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval in their late 40's or 50's?

And it has a lot of Gen X music for being made for Gen Z & Millennials.
And don't say it's the time period cuz they sure as fuck didn't have cars like that in the 80's, ask me how I know.

From what I could hear there was some generic current day electronic club music, a track that sounded like Birdy Nam Nam made it, some Phil Collins and Def Leppard. A rather wide range of music which GTA usually has.

It looks like GTA but I'm not that excited for it. I think its because Cyberpunk 2077 scratched that itch years ago. I'll get GTA6 when there is a sale.

the 2 main playable characters are in their mid 20's...dialogue makes sense for their age...should they be talking like a baby boomer or Gen X?...most AAA games (especially GTA) are marketed towards Gen Z/Millennials
they guy thats never played em is telling us how they are supposed to be, riiiiight....
its sounds like retards wrote it, that work better for ya.
