Pixel 11 / Pixel 11 Pro / Pixel 11 Pro XL / Pixel 11 Pro Fold

I wasn't planning on moving on from my Pixel 9 Pro XL, but the trade-in value ($900) is just too good to pass up. Especially with the rising cost of tech devices. If I wait I risk getting less trade-in value and only having a more expensive device next year.

Here's to hoping the Pixel 11 Pro XL on the way will hold until the tech prices come back to sane levels.

The fact that phone aesthetics are still a think is confounding to me. All look exactly the same to me.
Not just aesthetics like color but the material of the case. Practically no one uses a phone without a case because it's almost guaranteed to get busted and the moment a case gets slapped on it you can't see anything but the screen. The material of the body is also irrelevant because the case is doing the protection, not the body of the phone.

The case I got for my phone has a translucent back but it's useless because the mint green of my phone is so light that it can't be seen anyway.

Spot on. Even if you try to get around it with a clear case to show off the back, you end up with a slick polycarbonate shell that offers zero grip and inevitable UV yellowing.

P11PXL all set up and ready to go. Gotta give a big (y) to the Dbrand Tank. It's replaced the Grip as my favorite phone case. The camera protection alone makes it superior to the Grip.

I am so tempted to trade in a P7 and get a P11 but I just got a 9a at launch of last year. Trade in value of P7 is $330. Must resist....

In almost the exact same place. My P7 is fine, but OS/security updates end in a year. Plus, there's a $100 store credit if buying an unlocked by 8/27. So right now a P11 is far cheaper than a P10 (P7 to P10 trade-in is only $95). Main thing holding me back is I'm really looking at moving to GrapheneOS and it's still too early to know if the P11 will be properly supported.

Walmart issued me a Pixel 8a last week I like the screen. They issue Pixel 9a as well. They gave me a referb from a long gone associate. There are some crumbs in the USB C port that I can't get out with air. So I have a Amazon cleaning kit on the way. There is a error when trying to clock in sometimes gives me a jump scare everytime. Think its the Walmart App we use. The phone I used to have was a Samsung Xcover so glad I have a oled phone now.

Thinking of picking up a 10a for general prrsonal use.

Received by 11 Pro XL yesterday (16GB/512GB model). Coming from the 9 Pro XL I'm actually quite surprised at the differences I see. Not in the physical phone but in the software. Just little things that weren't there on the 9 but are there on the 11. Google Maps via Android Auto is visually different in certain places. Like the bubbles that show different routes. It's cleaner and I get multiple routes now depending on where I am. Previously I'd only see the route I'm on and maybe one alternative. Now I'm getting 2 or even 3 alternatives.

HiLight is a neat gimmick. However, it's only really useful if you're the type of person who puts their phone screen down on the table. Probably the same type of person who puts the toilet paper on the holder backwards.

There's other visual cues that the 11 has over the 9 especially in the Settings menu.

Overall I'm quite happy with the upgrade.

I see a nice upgrade over my 9 pro. The main reason I went with the upgrade is the 25watt wireless charging. Doing gig jobs really drains the battery where my pro and 15 watt wireless was not enough
