So, I have this 750ti, 3570k, some amount of memory, etc. sitting around collecting dust. None of it is really worth selling. So, I decided I want to do an overkill Windows xp machine. I'll probably go 980ti at some point, because there really is no such thing as overkill.

Anyway, the only board that I have for the 3570k is h77, and what kind of overkill build would it be if I don't overclock it? Just looking for a decent z77 board, nothing fancy. Haven't decided on a case yet, as I hate new RGB cases. That'll probably be another thread.

Anyway, if you have a decent z77 board that won't blow up when I go to overclock the 3570k, please PM me.

Here's what I think I still have, and I might actually have even more, but I haven't checked or tested them in so long. I don't know if any have a PCI slot off-hand.
  • 2x MSI Z77 Mpower (it got my golden 3770K to 5GHz at 1.420V's).
  • ASUS P8Z77-V Extreme
  • ASUS P8Z77 WS
  • Gigabyte Z77-D3H
  • ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe/GEN3
  • Asrock Z77-ITX (likely won't have a PCI slot)

The Gigabyte has PCI. There is no Z77-V Extreme that I can find. Is it perhaps an Asrock Z77 Extreme4?

Sucks you need PCI.
I was going to offer up this:
