Arctic via Amazon: Arctic Fan Controller $9

Yeah, it's already merged upstream. It's also already supported by LibreHardwareMonitor on the Windows side.

so can some one please explain to me how this had induvial fan control? it has 10 4pin inputs and 1 4pin output to the mb. there is no usb connection to the motherboard. wouldnt this control all of the fans connected to the hub at the same speed? the speed of the one header connected to the motherboard.

The fan controller itself has logic/chip built in for control. Software is used to control the various fans through that and fan curves can be set depending on the temperatures the motherboard/CPU reports.

Ordered from Amazon and it just arrived. Tiny! 3" x 3.5" x .0625". Actually is a good thing as it won't take up much room at all inside the case. Mount anywhere almost like
an SSD.

Expected it to be probably twice as large. Guess I didn't read the specs very well. Have not set it up yet. Might wait until the new build is happening--too hot to do anything this time of year.

no you have to make one yourself. /s
everybody rtfm, ffs. its like you havent been doing this for 20+ years....

Fair enough. Normally I would expect that in the spec sheet, not the manual. I looked thru the AC page on it, nothing mentioned there or in the spec sheet pdf. I didn't think they would put it in the manual if not already on the damn web page that lists specs or the spec pdf file.

I wish I could find a replacement controller for the original Lian Li SL120 unifans that is not insanely over priced.
