Because Rockstar didn't raise the base price to $100, investors were mad and caused a 3% drop in valuation. Most would think nothing of it, but that 3% was around $1.2 billion worth.

If you ore-order the game, you get 1 month free of GTA+. If you don't cancel it, you will be charged $7 per month until you do. I heard about it from Valve.
this. its digital and wont run out, so resist the fomo and "free shit",never preorder
What other age demographic is there that plays games? Infants and toddlers?kiddies and adults
The worst part is people actually buying preorders from scalpers, as if a digital good is going to run out. And people on social media bragging about using NZ time to pre-order early. We're not going to make it as a species.this. its digital and wont run out, so resist the fomo and "free shit",
They want the box. But yes, it's still idiotic. The worst part is people actually buying preorders from scalpers, as if a digital good is going to run out. And people on social media bragging about using NZ time to pre-order early. We're not going to make it as a species.
Seems like an over-inflated figure. Can't pre-order PC. Can't pre-order Switch. By my napkin math, they'd need to sell ~40 million units to get near that number in sales. I get that they'll probably hit that in global sales after launch, but I find it hard to believe that 1 out of every 3 persons who bought a PS5 or Series X have pre-ordered GTA6.https://www.msn.com/en-us/entertain...-pre-orders/ar-AA26U4F6?ocid=sapphireappshare
3 Billion in preorders must be console kiddies and adults. So much for never preorder
Also, some ebay sellers get nice gc offers when they sell an item. I had a reusable-3-times 50 off 100 offer for selling a $10 or more item on ebay. They want the box. But yes, it's still idiotic.
There's still no official info regarding the size of the map? A quick search says it will be at least twice the size of V, but those are just guesstimates I suppose. It'll be interesting to get some official specs. I always like seeing those map size comparison vids on youtube, pretty neat stuff.
A lot of the GTA V map was rural with only like 1/4th of it an urban sprawl. So, I'd rather VI not be like that. Quality over quantity, I say. There's still no official info regarding the size of the map? A quick search says it will be at least twice the size of V, but those are just guesstimates I suppose. I liked the rural areas, but game wise you need a reason to go out there and do stuff. Otherwise making you truck out there for a moment then turn around and haul it back is rather frustrating.A lot of the GTA V map was rural with only like 1/4th of it an urban sprawl. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony was trying to do this for a while and just needed a title big enough to force it and not dip revenue or kill the title.Didn't take long for Sony to abandon physical disc after GTA 6 announcement.

Well if that article is correct and they have hit $3 BILLION in preorders, at $80 or $100 a pop... I mean do the mathHonestly wouldn't surprise me if they got 30-40 million preorders.
That would be around 30-40 million ... so uh ... yeah.Well if that article is correct and they have hit $3 BILLION in preorders, at $80 or $100 a pop... I mean do the math
Sony has sold about 90 million PS5s globally. Microsoft has sold 35 million Xbox series S/X consoles. If the numbers are true that means that about 30% of current gen console owners have preordered GTA6. Sounds entirely feasible.
