Just got the alert on my P9 Pro. I kinda figured this might be coming since there has been no June update and it's already the 16th.

Well, that's freaking stupid. I liked it when they were under the same icon. Now I lost a slot for something that used to only take one.The only differences I could find are in the pull-down shade at the top of the screen. They have split mobile data and wi-fi into 2 separate icons (both take you to the same "internet" app, FYI) and they added one for satellite connections, too. That'll be handy if I'm ever hiking outside of cell service range I guess.
Beyond those tiny nuances, I'm not seeing anything.
My biggest concern is the sideloading of third-party apps & how they're locking it down in September. Otherwise, its a very boring release.Well, that's freaking stupid. I liked it when they were under the same icon. Now I lost a slot for something that used to only take one.
I don't see anything else different. Here I thought Android 17 was going to be interesting.![]()
Couldn't you do that before? I feel like holding down on it brought up a slider...You can adjust f|ash|ight intensity now.![]()

Maybe, now it opens a submenu when you turn on the flashlight. No long tap necessary, so you don't have to have known about it to use it.Couldn't you do that before? I feel like holding down on it brought up a slider...
