Cheaper service than T-Mobile?

So I've been with T-Mobile a long time, prob 15 years or so, there's 4 of us, we all use Google Pixel phones, which I buy outright or through Google direct, never from T-Mobile.

But the monthly bill seems a bit high lately, we average around $160 to $180 a month for all 4 lines, which I think is pretty darn high, any recommendations for cheaper but still good network in the U.S.?

Mint mobile keeps tempting me but im stuck in contract still. They lease from tmobile so you would have the same coverage

have you called them up and asked if there are any deals or whatnot available to lower your cost, maybe go to Verizon and get a quote for moving your 4 lines over and maybe getting 4 free phones, and then see if T-mobile can do something to match or you are leaving.
My gf's brother did that last month with T-mobile and ended up paying much less and got the latest Galaxy S Ultra phone for next to nothing, they gave him like $1100 trade on his previous Galaxy S Ultra phone.

I switched from T-Mobile to Mint (T-Mobile) years ago ($60/mth for 4 lines with 5GB/ea) and then to US Mobile (T-Mobile) recently and don't see any difference. I am not a power user as far as data so take that accordingly, but coverage didn't seem to change. I only care about cost and coverage.

I pay $39/mth for 4 lines with 5GB shared data lol. Training my kids not to rely on or expect unlimited data! If you go US Mobile then let me know and I'll send your a referral code to get $25 off (I get $25 credit as well).

If you're buying your phones from Google (which you should), you should be on a prepaid plan. If you like tmobile's network, you could move to tmo prepaid or mint (which is owned by tmo). Or check https://prepaidcompare.net/

Less perks, but you're paying for the perks.

Mint or US Mobile. I pay $18/month and have never had an issue in 6 years with either. you can find deals for under $15. I even won a free Pixel 10 with US Mobile in December for trying their insurance. No contracts with either of them.

I used to have Mint for my MIL and kids. Switched to US Mobile due to poor coverage and haven't looked back. $180 per year per line on Verizon towers is unbeatable where I am.

Mint Mobile user for several years. Get the phones from Google then prepay for a year's service with Mint. Generally never use it but nice to have in case of roadside breakdown or landline goes out. Next renewal, will likely purchase minimum data for the year. Coverage very good in my area.

I use Mint for a few years now. $20 a month and I never use the 15GB of data it comes with, but it's a safety net as I work from home a lot and wanted the hot spot feature in case internet goes out. Neighbor over holidays did Verizon $100 mo 4 lines and 4 free phones, believe that is when the offer the best deals.

EDIT: Just checked and mint slightly upped it's data for the same price

I've been using US Mobile for a bit now. No issues. I don't use much data away from WiFi, so I'm just on the basic $10/mo. plan for a single line. They offer all three major US networks (I use Verizon's through them) and you can easily switch without changing plans (though there might be a small one-time charge).

I still have TMobile and pay for the kids phones still. They will use up to 20GB of data a month. Paying $160 for unlimited everything currently. Any thoughts on moving these somewhere else? Figure someone here knows and don't feel like looking at 100 different account options. TMobile service is solid, even out in the country where I am, so I would like to stay with its towers.

Not meaning to hawk too hard for them, but the US Mobile By-The-Gig plan is $35 for 20 GB shared plus $8 per additional line after the first. I'd guess other pre-paid providers are similar.

Mint mobile user here for at least 5 years. The service is great but you *can* get deprioritized versus tmobile customers. 99% of the time you won't notice. But in busy places like airports and stadiums it can be an issue.

That being said 98% of the time I save so much compared to other carriers I could care less about that 2% of the time. Also, in busy places like stadiums and airports they often have free wifi anyway.

Yeah I've been with Mint since like 2018 love 'em - I'm on the $15 plan cause don't need much data mostly just browse the web - they just upped the 5GB allotment the other day to 6GB - dunno if they did it for all the other plans 👍

Considering leaving VZW, and going to Consumer to save $.
I understand CC uses the VZW Network, so I should get ALL the coverage I have now.
I have a OnePlus 13R, it's unlocked, so I can go anywhere.
Anyone left VZW for Consumer?

Checkout the current pricing with infimobile.com.

Compare it with US Mobile and Mint Mobile.

Also, if buying a phone too, QVC.com sells Tracphones with included 1 year plans, then the phones unlock after 1 year. They currently have a 2025 Moto G with 1 year of 4.5gb monthly data for $79 shipped. Throw the 15% coupon on top to knock approx $12 off that price.

If you like Verizon's network, Visible mobile has $25/35/45 per month plans all with unlimited phone and data plus unlimited tethering at 5/10/15mbps. A little cheaper if you pay annually. Also gives a $15/mo discount on my Frontier fiber account.

Cheaper than Mint plans there - Tmobile backend?

Edit: Yes

That tello deal is really good if T-Mobile coverage is good enough for your travels, the options you can pick are great.

My wife switched to mint a few months ago. It started out a little different than most journeys. She had a t-mobile wireless hotspot for a little busines she has. The reception/speed was AWFUL. I mean just trash. So, we decided to try minternet. The thing came and was great. It only took her a could days after that to switch her phone from verizon to mint....and let me tell you, that was an ordeal. They got her with an extra month of service because she didn't close her account the right way....you know, because they deactivated it. That extra month of verizon was like a whole year of mint.

The next few months will be really interesting as the us cellular-Tmobile merger works through. I am curious what that will do to t-mobiles spottier areas.

Loving us mobile, offers Verizon coverage that I need at $25/month unlimited with like 80GB high speed. Thats with taxes and fees too

I can vouch for Visible... Switched from VZW and its even cheaper if you add someone to your "circle" by $5 a month. Truely unlimited and uncapped data on the phone and reliable PRIORITY data and service (if you go with the Plus or higher plan, I believe Base is de-prioritized, but still unlimited).

The hotspot throttling Visible does irks me. AFAICT most of the MVNOs don't do this, especially for their unlimited plans.

(edit: missing word.)

I manage 4 lines on infimobile, recharged two lines earlier this month with their $75 annual plan (unlimited talk/text, 10gb data), total was $95 with CA tax and fees. I find them similar to Red Pocket but cheaper. Been super happy and would recommend them.

Also, anyone in healthcare or anyone who can can qualify as a first responder should be on FirstNet, it's so good.
