So far 596.36's been the latest stable driver for me. I'll still wait 'til I see one worth upgrading to.

Seems ok it's going to be a pain if you have a game open already to change the stuff on the fly. I had it crash on me once already where the sliders stopped working but I reset my PC then it worked again. The numbers don't make sense at all really you have 100 as the middle it goes up to like 120 and it bottoms out a like 80.

These drivers caused 2 of my computers to kick me out of my games and both computers locked up one restarted and the other black screen and recovery.
Rolled back to previous drivers and now no issues.

I'm reinstalling with DDU don't like what it did to my LCD OLED is fine.. If I still don't like it I'll roll back and let these bake for a few months or download the control panel off Windows Store. I think this might of worked doesn't seem to have that flicker.

“NVIDIA Profile Inspector

Version History

3.0.1.13 (May 28th, 2026)

  • Allow searching settings by hex ID in filter
  • Allow specifying FindFile param in add application dialog
  • Remove applications from profile before deleting, to fix potentially orphaned applications
  • Changed gridview to listbox for better scrolling performance“

FWIW, the legacy Control Panel remains if you simply upgrade the drivers. It's only gone if you do a Clean install, and even then, it's still available separately via the Microsoft Store if you want.

Ahhh. was wondering why I did not get the new app after I updated drivers only.

I only update the drivers. I don't use any of the Nvidia junkwares, and I always do a DDU with every new driver set. Is it worth all the extra work? Nahh, not really, but it has eliminated any other issues I may have when installing new drivers ontop of the old ones.

Me likey when it's so fresh and so clean clean :p

There is no new app. Functionality of the control panel has been duplicated in the Nvidia App. The Nvidia App has already co-existed with the Control Panel since 2024, when it replaced Geforce Experience.

Because you need to trade me your RTX 5090 with my RX 9070 XT...

But seriously, what was your score before?
I used to get ~47k, but I had a different CPU since last time (14900k). It just seemed really low and I saw yours and it confirmed to me it was lower.

I'll see what's up with the clock speed since I just redid everything earlier this week. Thanks for the help y'all!

I ended up Downloading the Control Panel off the Windows Store because I have my sliders tweaked where the Nvidia App Its anyones guess. I might Roll Back these Drivers yet not sure.

I'm going to Boycott all the recent Drivers untill they bring the Orignal Control Panel Back sure you can download it off the Windows store but do you need to download it everytime you.
install?

No, unless you keep doing "clean install".

I just remembered something about the 14th gen beating even the 9800X3D in Port Royal (from a Jayztwocents XOC video?). IIRC, it was something to do with Port Royal benefitting a good bit from very high system RAM speed, which not as many AM5 chips can reach.

The New app is just a GUI for the Old Control Panel lol.. Now they are forcing you to install all the garbage to use it... Like telemetry and crap... This is stupid.

So far so good for me on these new drivers. The only games I currently play are the BF series and World of Warships. Have not had time to really game recently.
