How many hours per week do you game on average?

ARPG's mostly played with some racing sims thrown in on occasion.

These days, I acquire more games than I actually get to sit down and play. I play the long game, hoarding game deals

Not much these days. I'd estimate 10 hours a week at most. I work 12 hour shifts with a half hour turn over to next shift crew, one hour commute each way, two kids at home.... doesn't leave a lot of time for gaming lol.

But I make a point of fitting in some gaming time. Mostly I'm playing single player games. Currently playing mouse P.I. Remedy games are probably my favorite. Alan Wake 2 was wonderful for me.

is there a rule for that here? if so, I didnt know. no problem

I play for like 1-2hours per week max at the moment due to stressful obligations in RL (studying, keeping up with money, constantly diagnosing and repairing my car lol etc).
However I was a heavy gamer since I started with a tamagotchi and a gameboy (yeah im old) and continued with a playstation 1. I never counted back in the days, but it was pretty much my main activity, so I would say 20-30 hours per week easily.

When I get my hands on a very interesting game like for example RDR2 I somehow fall back into old patterns, but I pretty much got it under control. It is still fun.

Oh yes, and I love RPGs (Gothic 1-2, Witcher, KCD, RDR2)

4 hours of PC gaming. I always wake every day at the same time, on the weekend every in the house sleeps in. That gives me 2 extra hours for myself, after making coffee I am playing Sandstorm with friends or Anno 1800 if friends are off-line. When I get tired of Anno I will switch games, Insurgency is forever.
Trying to find good easy co-op couch games. The wife and I did the It Takes 2 and even the prison break by the same dev.
On phone I have BDT6 that I put in an 15-30 mins a day-ish. (not sure if we count phone gaming). I play Mini Metro sometimes on the phone.

It really varies. There are times where I might game 8 hours or more in total and plenty of days where I don't game at all. It just depends on what's going on that day. I have pretty narrow tastes when it comes to games. I don't play that many different games but what I do like I'll play a lot. Lately, I've been playing Lords of the Fallen. Sometimes I've played it co-op with friends.

If an exciting new game comes out that I like I'll game 8-10 hours a day until I finish it and / or get bored with it.
Otherwise I might not play any game for weeks, except for spending 10 minutes on some casual game.

oh you got your wife in the same boat,I bet thats pretty good for you

It doesn't matter I know a guy with 365 days of playtime in Duablo 4.
the diablo series was probably developed by a few master minds who knew exactly how to implement very addicting mechanisms. i know a few of these stories, and I have to admit, I was a heavy gamer at Diablo 2 online for years in my youth

I probably play 10-15 hours a week. I'm just finishing up Skyrim again - first time playing through with a Destruction Magic build (specifically, mostly "Shock").
But even if I'm not in the middle of a big game, I always have "Defense Grid" (DG1 not DG2) for a few minutes of relaxation.

2 hours per weekday is typical. 1 before work and 1 before bed. Sunday is my day to play the most, so that can be anywhere from 3-5 depending what else is going on. Well, that and how compelling what I'm playing at the time is.

Maybe an hour at most (when you add all my gaming time up annually and device by 52) - mostly horror and single player and third person shooters

Now ask me how many hours I doom scroll and just browse the web 😃

Honestly probably between 30-40 hours probably, sometimes more, depending on how little sleep I feel like getting. Generally in the RPG/MMORPG fields.
