It slays me that Phantom Liberty DLC costs as much as the base game, I feel like it should be both of them for $25 by this point.
I played it at launch on Stadia of all platforms. I now have it in my PS5 library and I think Epic as well. Still don't have Phantom DLC.
I "sort of" want to play it again, but with the DLC since that's a mid-game experience. But honestly I don't think there is that much story branching to eke out another 40-50 hours out of me. The character paths don't really matter, the mission choices don't really matter except for which chick you hook up with.
I mean for those that have not played it is totally worth checking out. I am just not a completionist, I don't need to 100% every item and side mission in games. Although I got really damn close in Ghost of Tsushima
Yeah, everytime I see a sale I think about finally playing the game beyond the intro but $20+ for just the expansion and I lose motivation. Just further proof that unless you are that interested in a game it pays to wait 6-24 months for the discounts. Diablo4's new expansion is proof of that this week too.
