Slay the Spire 2 has been announced by Mega Crit via a YouTube trailer for the 2025 release. The first game was fun even though I never played it the way it was supposed to be played. You're supposed to build these decks with some semblance of order, but I just liked to stack more cards into my deck until I get frustrated and win or lose by a roll of the dice. Don't be like me; choose your tools wisely!

Well the chick has to work somewhere. The first game was excellent and genre-agnostic as far as I could tell. I haven't purchased the second game yet because I only buy games at 50% - 75% off unless it is guaranteed "crack." This game is guaranteed "crack" but it is in Early Access right? So I can wait for a bigger discount to less than $15 to be bothered with some rare bug. What can she do to a game that appeals to every age and social group due to the way it is made? Do a voice over as a tranny monster? Hahaha. Not insinuating that she is transgender, but would that be racism if she did that? Just throwing darts at the dartboard.

I’ve got over 100 hours in it so far. It’s brutally tough but in a way that’s demoralizing. Unfair and unfun recently. Anyone on the fence , I’d let it bake and play monster train and monster train 2, which are certainly fun!
 
I have 31 hours in it but haven't played since Mar 14. It's pretty decent but I think Monster Train is better mainly due to how you upgrade your cards.

Nope. I liked him a few years back but he's morphed into the spokesman for the incels. StS2 is a good game and I can't think of any sort of 'wokeness' that she might have added so this is all just dumb rage bait.

Its weird that they would put her in the credits if they didn't use her "contributions" companies should know that attaching her to their game is bad publicity.

Sure but I think a lot of this is just a form of bribes paid out and favors for friends. How much actual influence is unknown at this time. Concern is valid but I'll wait to see how bad the influence is on a card game.
