Star Wars: Galactic Racer

I enjoyed the 1999 Star Wars Episode 1: Racer game...it took 26 years but I guess we finally got a sequel...
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. That was fun. I remember a friend letting me play it on his pc once or twice.(The good ol K7/thunderbird days). As soon as the trailer finished i went and wish listed it.:D

Yeah I was just thinking this would be a solid $30 or so game. For $60 it's a no from me, dawg.
That is where I am at. Looks fun but 20-30usd for me is where I would buy it. It isn't going to be a game I am going to sit and sink tons of hours into to feel worth sticker price.

I suppose it depends on how much effort is put into the campaign. It is hard to tell from the Steam page though to be fair, most Steam page descriptions are annoyingly vague. If it has a good story, characters and whatnot, I can maybe see the $60 price tag. But if it is just offline with bots and a few phoned in cut scenes, then it is more or less a multiplayer only game and $40-50 would be more appropriate. It also depends on how detailed the customization and mechanics are. If it is like the Forza games and whatnot, I can understand more. But if it is more like Mario Kart in that it is very simplistic, I would expect something closer to $40.

I'll get this. Torn on paying full price or waiting. I like supporting good star wars games, but I am not in a rush to play it either.

I am looking forward to this. And wish the release date was sooner!

Still, its nice that it is releasing the same year it was announced. I dont care for some of the really early announcements.
