It's the only 34" ultrawide with 360Hz refresh rate AFAIK. The motion clarity will be amazing.
It's also using the latest gen QD-OLED panel with RGB stripe sub-pixel layout which means your text quality will be really good (or at least as good as it could be at 3440x1440).
But what does the 360hz refresh matter if your gpu can't push the game your playing at that rate..... For me I want the best looking monitor possible.. What would that currently be in the 34 inch curved? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0F73CKR9D?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Because at some point you'll update your system and be hitting much higher frame rates. 1440p is a pretty low resolution these days. Modern GPUs won't even break a sweat at that resolution.

I have a pair of the Alienware AW3423DW 175Hz QD-OLED. I would consider the warranty to be one of the top priorities when buying an OLED for PC use.
I am not sure what LG's current warranty length is, it used to be 2-3 years in 2007 but then dropped to 1 year a few years later.
Dell has been 3 years for probably every monitor.

What do you guys think of the one I linked? I have a pny 5070ti gpu. I just want the best in terms of Amazon visuals, eye popping. I've never had anything above a 27 inch. I think it's time for something to blow me away so I think that's a curved and 34 inch... But what do I know Ive never had an oled and no idea what is the best currently

It uses the triangle subpixel layout so text won't look as clear as the new RGB stripe model like the 360Hz PG34WCDN ($1299). Also this $550 Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 appears to be the same 175Hz panel and is 150 dollars less than the PG34WCDG you linked ($699), there's a few similar models you could check out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/m...ice&D=170000,600000&P=9&F=355600000,889000000
If you want a 240Hz panel instead there's a few around the same price point, the Acer Predator X34 X5bmiiphuzx at $699, and Alienware AW3425DW and MSI MPG 341CQPX at $750.
(MSI's store also has a 10% off coupon this weekend for memorial day holiday so it would be the cheapest)
LG has one too with their panel but it's 800r so a lot more curved than the QD-OLED ones which are 1800r.

Well such one is going to have the best eye popping visuals and best performance? At what point does the 240hz not matter anymore if your gpu cannot keep up? Is there something much better than the Asus one I linked in terms of visual looks just looking amazing? Price doesn't really matter bc I keep monitors for 5 or more years

The text quality is the biggest difference, most everything else you won't really notice besides it being a bit brighter perhaps. 360Hz...for me 240 over 160 doesn't make much of a difference but depends on the person.

Ok I've spent the last couple months doing a lot of research on OLEDs, so a lot of it is still fresh in my mind, forgive me for rurgitating some of it here.
As for the LG it noticeably dimmer than my current IPS, but that's kind of to be expected, I adjusted to the difference very quickly though so it wasn't that much of an issue. The colors were nice sure, but honestly I didn't feel like it was "ZOMG WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING" levels of nice, but perhaps what I was playing really wasn't heavy on the HDR. I did notice my background did look more vibrant in SDR (windows really isn't set up to do HDR). However if you're expecting a night and day difference akin to what all those OLED demos show you may be a bit disappointed, will it be different? Yes, but I didn't feel like it was that much of a difference to warrant full price change (my IPS is pushing 5 years old which is why I'm looking). Also OLED monitors (either QD or WOLED) are not going to hit those peak brightness levels that TVs do, so do not use what TV OLEDs do as justification for picking an OLED monitor.

The MSI one mentioned, is the newest gen of QD-OLED (5th gen), it is brighter than previous 34" ultrawides, although that's not saying much, but you'll pay the "new tax" for it. Again, sale prices you see are because they're trying to get rid of old stock, i.e. older generation panels. I would stay away from that ASUS one you posted though, that looks to be the 1st gen QD-OLED panel there, while it's cheap... there's a reason why it's cheap. 175Hz 34" ones are going to be 1st gen panels, 240Hz 34" ones will be 2nd gen, and 280/360 Hz will be 5th gen panels (again only for 34" QD-OLEDs).
My advice, make sure you absolutely want a 34" ultrawide if that's what you want, buy one from Best Buy (or whatever) with the full intent on returning it just to see if you really want that if you have never had one before, for me... the first experience with UW, I did not want that, 27" is a nice spot for me for size, 32" might be ok but that comes at the trade off of more horsepower to push 4k (27" are 1440p), but again not ultrawide. And hell, do it just to see if you really are getting that "eye poppingly amazing" look you think you're going to get in whatever games you play. Since there are two panel makers the differences between different brand monitors are going to be very minor for panels with the same specs, so don't get too hung up over which brand to get, again look at that refresh rate that'll tell you which panel you're dealing with.
Literally the one I just returned that LG 34" UW. Very aggressive 800R curve to it, found myself having to move my head too much to see parts of the screen, which is ultimately why I returned it, not due to any sort of quality issues. But nothing to suggest $800 price tag though, especially since it's 2 gen old WOLED tech which isn't saying much since 34" UWs are kind of a niche market no where near as popular as 27" or 32" panels. I got it as an open box for $400 even though it was listed at like $650, which is the only reason I got it, fortunately I found out quick I didn't like ultrawide and it only cost me a bit of gas to find that out. Pro-tip... if you have a Best Buy, check their open box section, if there's a cool manager on the floor they very well may give you a better than advertised price, they want to get rid of old stuff and can make it happen, you can ask them to plug it in, check the hours on it (make sure it's a return not a floor model). Mind you they aren't supposed to do this, but they do have the power to make it happen.

I'm currently debating on getting the new Asus 5th gen. What worries me is how much immersion will I lose compared to the current LG C2 42" in terms of size of the display, and how is the eye strain on the 5th gen qd oled compared to the LG OLED.
So I currently got the ASUS ROG Strix 34” Ultrawide QD-OLED HDR Gaming Monitor (XG34WCDG) - 3440x1440, 175hz, curved 0.03ms, OLED Care Pro, True 10-bit, G-SYNC. I had two 27 oled. One was a LG the other was a Asus.. The 34 blows them away... I was playing the new re9 requiem and it looks amazing in 34 inch ws oled.... I never tried a 32 at 4k but the 34 is Def a step up from 27..i couldn't go back to the 27 after and returned both the 27 Asus and LG... Debating if this is the best 34 inch ws oled that is curved? I feel the curve is perfect and anymore or less is not good... Opinions?

I don't think so. Those display are way too expensive and the hole PC stuff is on the decline in general.
