Is the MOZA R3 Racing Wheel a good choice for Forza Horizon 5 and 6?

I am thinking about getting the MOZA R3 Racing Wheel and Pedals Bundle for Xbox & PC. I am currently only playing Forza Horizon 5. I plan on getting 6 when it comes out. Is this a good wheel choice for this game? I checked the Moza website and it says it is compatible with the Windows 10 version of FH5, but I am running Windows 11 and playing the Xbox version not the Steam version.

IMO No. No wheels are good for Forza Horizon games. I played with a controller until I finally got a wheel and found that some races were almost impossible with the wheel and easy peasy on the controller. It heavily leans towards the user using a gamepad more than a wheel. You can play it with a wheel and you can have fun but you might have to switch to a controller to progress. Wheels are good for like Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa EVO, Automobilista 2, LeMans Ultimate, etc but if you're not into sims those might not be fun.

IIRC Moza wheels have issues with Horizon games. I think they added support later in 5.

Horizon is a lot of fun with a wheel. You have to change your mindset to immersion instead of grinding races. The only thing that doesn't feel good with a wheel are those point-to-point offroad races

Run an R5 in horizon, no probs. So I'd imagine the R3 should be good.

I do far more sim racing but it does just fine in horizon.
