So, I was passing thru Burlington, VT today and decided to stop into Walmart on a whim, to see if they had any pc components. None of the ones near my home have anything of merit.
Lo, and behold, they had 4 5070's at $639 or thereabouts, a few 8 Gb 5060s for around 350, and a lone PNY Rtx 5070 Ti at $750. I do not need this gpu, as I am perfectly happy with my XTX, but I thought I might be able to help someone else get one of these at a decent price. I purchased this earlier today and it is NIB, only being opened at the counter so that I could verify that it was, indeed, a gpu and not something else of similar weight. They also had a couple of Z790 motherboards, an Intel Ultra cpu (not sure of the model) and, I believe, a Ryzen 7800X3D, if anyone is in the area and wants to stop in to grab something.
With the tax added, it cost me $801 (see attached photo of receipt). If we estimate shipping to be about $20 or so, would anyone be interested in this for $820 shipped? I have a decent amount of heatware under my user name, and Venmo is the preferred method of payment. If you want to use Venmo G&S for your protection, that is fine with me. The card would be shipped via USPS with insurance and signature confirmation required, given the amount of money involved.
