Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm trying to figure out why my 7800GT SLI rig only pulls in around 6250 points in 3Dmark06.
Proper drivers: Forceware v81.98
Jumpers set properly
SLI bridge in place.
Box checked in the drivers to enable SLI.
SLI-Multi GPU rendering set in global driver settings
power to both GPUs...
Lol, yes. I'm not a total n00b you know.
I couldn't even set these option unless I knew how to go into regedit and enable coolbits to tell the driver to let me see the different SLI methods.
Good stuff HighTest. Of all the the things that may be an issue you listed the only one I can't check is the power supply. It has TWO 20amp rails which should be sufficient, right? It is the older 500w version (480, really) and it may be causing the GPUs to throttle but I can't hardly imagine...

Not as you know them. They do have firmware, but not anything remotely like a BIOS. Macs use the fasted timing at the operational clock speed according to the DIMM's SPD timing table. It's rated speed is it's actual speed; you can't manually lower the timings to effectively overclock...
Cool. Was hoping for something like this to pop up. My roommate tasked me with building his new system next year. He gave be a budget somethere between $2000 and $3000 so I'm going to build him a monster 939 system with a nForce4 SLI motherboard and FX-53.
I recently helped my little bother upgrade to a modern system and as payment he gave me his oldie. I used to be heavy into F@H so instead of parting it I figure somebody here might have the hard drive and NIC it's missing to turn it into one more ghz for your farm. So what we're looking at is...
