    i've got same combo from Fry's. haven't tried overclocking it since i've heard so much about heat issues with Prescotts and using the stock HSF. it idles at 40C.

    i had an IC7-MAX3, had vdimm, VTT problems. if you can get those modded, then it is a great overclockers board. EpoX 4PDA2+ is good 865PE board. 3.3vdimm, 1.85vcore, 2.2agpv, no stability problems whatsoever (from my experience).

    why would 267 FSB at 5:4 or 214 at 1:1 give you PAT? I thought u could ony use PAT with 1:1 memory divider. haven't tried overclocking my ram yet, i think it can only do 230 FSB at 2.7v, i wonder if it'll hit 250 FSB at 1:1, that would be nice.

    2.4 is good, had one that did 3.0ghz on stock voltage now i have 2.8 at 3.5ghz on stock voltage. usually better luck with 2.4's i think
