The First Ultra HD Blu-ray PC Drive Ships Next Month

Maybe it's just me and my TV, but the quality difference between 1080p and 2160p is not so great, unless I you also account for HDR. Either way, I'll never pay for a physical medium again. It's not that I think streaming services are top quality, but not having to manage physical mediums and...

    Good m-ITX/mATX board for Skylake?

I'm still waiting. I thought I'll have the asus gene board, but it's not available here, and I'm also not in a hurry. Currently I can only get the Asus Z170M-PLUS. How is it?

Windows 9 Will Kill Microsoft's Awkward Charms Menu

I also like Win8, and think that bar was worthless for desktop. I barely go to the start screen either. I press my search button on the mouse (or win+q/s), and win+x to shotdown/restart/control panel etc.

Weird problem with games in windows

Hi all, I've had a problem with games freezing for a second every now and then for a while now. I finally found out that when task manager is open, this won't happen, so for now I have to keep task manager open when playing. What's also weird, is that if I forgot to open task manager before...

An Open Letter to EA on SimCity

Just got it for $20 here: http://www.amazon.com/SimCity-4-Deluxe-Edition-Download/dp/B00457VJ3G. Hopefully I can play it as well, but for that price I couldn't pass.

A First Look at Google’s Expensive New Chromebook

Technology Gone Wrong Or Idiot of the Day?

I once got $20k from a ISP I never had any contact with. I returned the money immediately, but at least here it's illegal to keep and use that money. Was nice having all that money in my account for a day though :)

    Why 2012 Was Firefox’s Year

They really need to get a hold of memory usage. 1.4GB of memory for 3 tabs with text/images just doesn't make sense. I use it only because of firebug, but even then it's only when I work on my web sites css.

    Why Microsoft Redesigned Windows

I enjoy Windows 8/Windows Server 2012. IMO, The start screen is a big improvement over the old start menu. Everything I need is right there, easy and fast to get to. Instead of having to sort through cluttered menus. I also use only a mouse and keyboard with these OSs, and don't see why people...

    Windows Mobile vs Android

Just got my first smart phone, and it's runs android. I really wanted to get a WP7 (love .NET, C# and the development platform), but with the very limited language support it wasn't an option. Hopefully MS will change that soon, but I have my doubts.. For the time being, Android seems great.
