Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
well, response time (20%-80%-20%) on XB24 is really slow from this. I wonder how Dead Space and other dark games would look with this slow dark transitions. Probably gonna get Samsung, even though it has that wobbly stand.
UFO test - too bad I do not have my old TN monitor now to compare if it...
I am currently in the market for 27" 1080p gaming (Skyrim)/movie monitor and I am interested in iiyama XB2783HSU, since I read at this forum that it is curenntly maybe best AMVA+ panel.
But I am worried about two things:
- response time - I have read that it is slower and I am afraid of it...
I am also interested in S2715H, too bad there is still no review, but biggest imo is the stand. I would love to see at least some height adjustment. Tired of having books under my monitor to raise it 10cm.
I am also considering Dell P2714H which is not glossy (no problem for me), has height...
Well I have old 23 1080p and I am looking for some 27 since I am looking at it from like 80 cm (2,6 ft) which I think is enough for 27.
I mean this thread more as a general discussion also, that's why I wrote R9 280X and above since it is quite common and strong card. I am gonna buy GTX 970 for...
Just to keep it simple (sort of public query):
basic home use => gaming (SP, no competitive), movies, internet browsing, nothing else (no photo editing etc)
=> 1440p (2560x1440) or 1080p (1920x1080)?
Your opinion guys.
And why. :)
EDIT: Let's say you have something like R9 280X or better so...
Is front I/O audio planned for the final version of the case? And is SFX version going to be crowfunded at the same time as default A4 or is it going to come later?
BTW really nice case, I am buying computer myself right now and I may get some cheap case just to overcome waiting for this one :)
I was also recommended Iiyama ProLite GB2488HSU-B1 which is another 144 Hz TN panel, I read also some good reviews about it and looks good (although it has low contrast)
But anyway I think I am going to take EV2336 in the end, I just hope it is worth the money...
After many years I am gonna buy a new monitor but I need help with deciding :). The monitor will be used for gaming, movies, web browsing and occasionally office work and programming. I am no true hardcore gamer, no online FPS and such, only SP games like Skyrim, Biochock, Stalker etc. No photo...
