Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Holy crap. I think I can feel my brain cell dying here...
Engines are only a single component in generating high fuel efficiency. Claiming that you have a design for a '100mpg engine' is just inane. Engines need to be connected to a vehicle for ANY meaningful measure of fuel efficiency...
I managed to get the battery into place by heating up the warped plastic enough for it to be malleable and pushing the battery into place. It's a bit more warped than it was before, but it's more functional now.
After cleaning things out and reinstalling the heatsink with AS5, I'm getting 73C...
I just successfully used a heat gun on a XT5300T. Unfortunately I wasn't thinking, and didn't pull the board out of the case before taking the heat gun to it. Now the battery doesn't fit, thanks to the plastic being warped.
I tweaked the screw mounts on the GPU side of the heatsink a bit to...
The problem is the sheer number of games out there; without a massive marketing campaign, chances are people will not hear about the game until after it's been displaced by a new title on store shelves. Without heavy advertising, it can take months before people hear about a game from their...
Another load of crap from Sony's marketing team. During the course of my job I service about 25 retail stores that sell PS3s, and not a single one of them has seen a 20gb model since launch.
I think it's much more likely Sony is losing more money on the 20gb models than the 60gb models, and...
Why not focus your efforts on fixing the 32 bit install on the desktop? If the 64 bit install is working fine, it's likely something as simple as a driver update that needs to be done to get the 32 bit install working properly.
There are quite a few of these closing. Checking your local one might net you a couple good deals, but I know my local one has already sold most of the good stuff already.
Costco owns their own Kirkland Signature brand, but it is not a seperate store chain. It's named after the city where they opened their first store (Kirkland, WA).
