Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Try putting the graphics card in a different PCI-E slot. Somehow, my primary PCI-E slot has begun manufacturing these errors with my 8800GTX. When placing it in a different slot, it works perfectly, even though the temperatures are even higher (worse airflow).
Actually, an ASUS EN8800GTX. I've had it for more than 2½ years, and in my opinion, it has handled everything I've thrown at it beautifully. It has aged like a fine wine.

An X1300 has been resurrected! 200 degrees C for 10 minutes. I was a bit scared about the capacitors as the plastic started bubbling after a while, but it came out fine.
A few days ago I received my Advent 4211 (MSI Wind clone) and I wanted to install the Dell 1390 WiFi card that I had bought on eBay to make triple-booting compatibility as good as possible. The built-in Realtek RTL8187SE doesn't have proper drivers for Linux and OS X at the moment.
Anyway, I...
