Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Trying to find out if I have been un-invivisibled yet. I was invisibilised about 7 years ago because I admitted to using banner blocking software. Now that everyone is using firefox or equivalent, I was wondering if that kind of ban still held.
If a non-moderator can see this, then all is...
I'm chugging my way along, having a bit of fun in the process. I'm just trying to find some FAQ's, guides, whatever. The manual is a bit thin on the ground and gamefaqs has nothing.
I picked up the DVD anthology, so I'd be happy with expansion info or anything really.
It doesn't count for staff and you two know that ;)
Seriously, if I've been stuck in one the mysterious hidden user groups, telling me would definitely be a positive :)
Who can see my posts? I've a sneaking suspicion they're being hidden.
Wether it's deliberate(most likely) or a problem (most unlikely), it still seems that most people can't see them.
If it's not deliberate... how would one remedy this? If it is deliberate, that's pretty funny.
Like the fact that your 'suggestion' doesn't satisfy the original posters request? He asked a question, it was reasonably answered. You tacking on an insult to the poster, after making an incorrect suggestion, is not neccesary.
I suggest that you take yourself to the console and learn some of...
Win + Break
Advanced -> Startup and recovery -> Settings
Disable 'Automatic restart'.
Sure, it won't help, but at least you get BSOD's and cryptic error messages rather than it just randomly resetting. I like how they 'eliminated BSOD's' by setting the default to reboot instead.
That...
How does that work? Doesn't make much sense to me.
The two most common problems I've seen is router issues and upload saturation. For every packet you recieve under TCP/IP, you need to send an ACK. If your upload is flooded, ACK's need to queue. No ACK's means that no more packets are being...
Some tried to argue pong affected people. That's utter hogwash.
If it had, then there'd have been a generation of people who thought it was cool to listen to wierd music in dark rooms whilst munching pills.
You're a good man.
I run any win32 browser through proxomitron and make a new filter every time someone comes up with a new type of ad. I just don't see ads at all in either IE or Firefox. I'm glad people like you exist so I can continue my utterly ad-free experience :)
