Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm on on-site computer technician, and I had two jobs today in the same building (in different suites,) both with the exact same problem. The systems were both powered off on Saturday evening and today they went to turn their computers on and they wouldn't start. One person unplugged the power...
Well I would certainly say that this board should have a heastink with heatpipes. Unfortunately the stock heatsink is not flat, and from the pictures I've seen, there's a large amount of thermal paste under it, and I mean large. I haven't had a chance to look at mine yet, but I'm pretty sure...
I'm having a similar problem with my board, but it's only looping on cold starts, and only when the RAM is in the slots closest to the CPU (1&2.) I believe those slots may be defective thought, because the board boots fine when the RAM is in the other two.
I finished my build yesterday, made sure the machine would POST by placing the mobo on a non-conductive surface, everything was good. Of course I only had one stick of RAM in at the time (Corsair Twin2X2048-6400C4) So i got the machine in the case, updated to the F8 BIOS, and powered down. I...
Wow! That's a rarity almost impossible to find in any company! What did you have to do to get [b]that[b]!? It's amazing how some people experiences differ so greatly when dealing with the same company.
I thought the same thing, but some people swear by the stuff. Many people recommend a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. I just started using Endust for electronics, and it seems to work alright, it does, however, leave some streaks
I'm sorry to hear that you had a similar experience. I would be interested to know your story if you have the time. Also, how many RMAs did you have to go through?
Im writing to explain my experiences with Viewsonic, and why I believe you should never buy a Viewsonic display again. I am also interested in hearing your comments and encounters with Viewsonic and especially their RMA department.
My story is quite lengthy; therefore I have shortened it...
My second 2005FP replacement came with absolutely zero dead or stuck pixels, and stayed that way for the first week. I tested it, and tested it, and tested it, there were none. On the second week, there were two stuck pixels (one green and one blue if I remember correctly) and every day after...
If the replacement is worse than the first, you can just send the replacement back. That's wast I did with the replacement I got on Thursday. The leakage on the replacement was worse, and there was several stuck pixels  I'm still debating whether or not to order another. Both LCDs were new...
