I bought a Zalman Performa for my 755 mobo last year. I want to upgrade to Sandy Bridge (LGA1155 socket). Will my Zalman fit on a Sandy Bridge motherboard without modification?
It says it can fit the first gen i7 motherboards, but it doesn't say anything about 1155 socket as I bought it well...
I have a fairly fast machine, Intel Q9450, 4GB ram, 9600GT, but I went with a 22" as I don't want to push my machine too hard when the latest games come out. I also like bigger pixels as I don't sit so close to the monitor.
L227WT-PF is a great choice. I picked it up for £165 a few months ago...
I have a L227WT-PF. I didn't notice any backlight bleed when I first got it and still can't see much really unless the lights are off and the room is pitch black, even then you have to LOOK for it. I thought maybe I'm just not a fussy person. Then I went to my friends who owns a 19" HP and I saw...
I had a 17" LG LCD which had a BIG difference between VGA and DVI. DVI had less ghosting and a crystal clear picture.
I now have a L227WT which came with both DVI and VGA cables. Needless to say, I didn't bother with the VGA cause I knew DVI would be much better.
When I first got my...
I got this monitor for £165, it used to be £226. Beautiful colours, I can't see any back light bleed, no dead pixels and everything looks beautiful and sharp. I came from a 17" LG LCD and this thing displays colours waaay better.
Very happy!
I have a wireless network with 3 laptops and one printer connected to a 4 port wireless rooter. All 3 laptops are connecting without wires. I would like to extend the wireless network so two more wireless laptops can connect to the network without wires. Should I buy a new rooter with more...
I've got an ASUS P5Q-Deluxe with a Q9450. Haven't had any problems with it. It's very stable, but I don't overclock.
The more expensive boards are normally the best overclockers, so get a Maximus 2 Formula if you wanna do some serious overclocking.
I'm in the same position too, I've been eyeing up an LG L227WT 22", but it seems to have a lot of mixed reviews and none of them really stand out, they all seem to have problems.
I'm still on a 2002 system, Pentium 4 2.8GHz, 160GB HDD, 1GB ram, Asus P4B mobo, GeForce 6600 etc
I just ordered the parts for a new system (Q9450, P5Q Dulx, 4GB DDR 800Hz, GeForce9 etc) as I don't want the first generation Nehalem! First generation computer stuff normally has problems that...
