Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I was thinking I wouldn't bother dumping the 60 bucks for a new cooler and then you go and show me I can get one for 32 bucks with the backing plate shipped.
you sir rock
so you're saying the DFI is worth the extra 50 bucks over the nf7-s? people on those forums are pretty much showing 2.5 ghz is the low end of the avg air cooled overclock
if thats true then the DFI lanparty board is worth its weight in gold.
I'll probably look at picking the DFI...
depends on what you mean by modding, soldering a resistor or something on there doesn't bother me in the least but if it requires redrawing traces on the board or something a bit more then that i'd rather go with something I don't need to do that with.
I think i'm going to go for the 2600+...
