Sprint May Sell Nextel iDen Network

My company used to use the iDen network in the US as well as Telus' Mike (iDen) network in Canada. Earlier this year they got rid of the iDen phones in the US and last month they got rid of the Mike service in Canada. It was a slow, expensive service and we're saving a lot of money by just...

External HD questions - Mac+PC simultaneous lovin'?

The biggest concern with FAT32 would actually be file size limitations. You can only have a 4gb file on FAT32, which may be fine for most people, but it will not allow you to store 2 hours of DVD Quality video in DVD format. Oh, and Windows 2000/XP will only partition FAT32 up to 32GB, even...

Installed 200GB Seagate, now booting takes forever...

While I agree with you that CS may be a problem in some hardware configurations, I have never had a bad experience using it. I have an opinion, a personal one, that CS should be used unless there is a problem later. I understand that it takes only a second to set the jumper for most...

Installed 200GB Seagate, now booting takes forever...

Master is ALWAYS on the end of the cable, slave is ALWAYS in the middle. It's not lazy, it's just elimination of a needless step. I find that most people do what they prefer anyway. The only problem with cable select is that some drives had issues with it. This is a manufacturer problem, not...

    WD Drive OEM VS. RETAIL

Go OEM. You get a longer warranty (3 years OEM vs. 1 year retail). All that other stuff isn't worth the cost, as it's all junk.

    Data loss in RAID 0

Using another controller to recover the data will more than likely screw things up further. Unless you use exactly the same controller chipset, you will definately cause more problems.
