Uh, Oh....is my computer about to die?

The computer was doing a repeating high and low beep. There was no power surges or anything of that sort. First time it has done this and was 3 days ago. "Repeating High, Low beeps CPU failure Bad processor" This computer is not overclocked at all and hitting the reset fixed the...

The Hauppage will allow for recording one show while watching another show at the same time right? Does Meedio tv have the option of filtering out commercial or at least an easy skip function?

    Building a cheap HTPC?

I want the computer to record basic cable and output to a basic 27 inch tv using the Yellow, Red, White video ports. Haven't followed AMD in over a year and now I'm lost.

My current board does not support pci x 16 so I'm having to get a new motherboard and I'm figuring a processor for the hell of it.

Haven't followed AMD in over a year and now I'm lost.

Could someone point me to some reviews that specificly state the differences between the explosion of AMD processors we have now? I want to build an affordable gaming system that reuses my 3200 DDR but supports pci X16 for the new ATi/Nvidia video cards. 95% of the time this computer will be...
