Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

The important thing is to make sure it's DRY. If you can't find a place to buy wood that has a moisture content of less than 9% (or so) you might want to move on. BTW, Home...
What concerns do you have about wood movement? I was considering a wooden case but was planning on using ply to try to keep movement down to a minimum... (At least that was my thought, but it's also been twenty years since I took woodshop!)
What kind of options do you have for venting the hot air out of your room? Will your folks let you cut a hole in the wall? Is your computer near a window? You could vent the hot computer air right out of the window and as long as you have a fan that constantly blows out you don't need to...
This same thing happens to my computer. It seems to be a direct x issue as the Direct Draw test in the direct x diagnostic does the same thing.
Do you have a legit copy of WinXP? I wonder if that could be the culprit.
