Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i've been gaming for many years (almost 10 now :O) and have gone through probably 50ish headsets over that time. reason being they always broke after a few months
until i discovered the sennheiser 280 pros
they're not that expensive (just a bit over $100), have good audio quality, muffle...
Looks like I've figured it out. Was a stupid reason: Veoh Web Player. I noticed that this was loading in my browser before I played any video. Uninstalled it and now HD video plays fine.
Not really sure when these symptoms started occurring. I think I might try the system restore, maybe at a point about a month back to see if that affects it at all.
Just saw that SP2 was released, installing right now. I doubt it will help, but worth a shot. This thing used to play 1080p and streaming HD videos fine but not anymore.
EDIT: SP2 had no effect.
System:
Intel C2D 3.0 ghz (stock for now)
2x2GB G.skill DDR2 800 RAM
DFI DK P35 Mobo
Geforce 9800GTX (stock with latest drivers)
WD 650GB SATA HD
So, when I first got this computer and installed Vista, everything was amazingly smooth. Games ran perfectly, I could watch HD video all day...
It's wireless. Didn't even come with a USB cable. I'll try inserting the CD with the printer removed from my computer but it just seems like the other computers can't pick it up and have to go through mine first.
My parents just got a new printer and need me to set it up so that all the computers in the house can print from it. That means my desktop, my dad's work laptop (old IBM thinkpad with win2000), their shared desktop, and my mom's MacBook. We have a wireless router with a simple wireless network...
The 360 controller is fine. It works really well for FPS game actually. I used to be one of those PC > consoles by far and thought that console FPS would never be the same as the computer. When I first tried Halo 3, I kept that idea at first, but now that I've played it for about half a year...
The thing about patches that annoys me the most is when they'll add in this GREAT NEW FEATURE! and never fix the problems of the original game. Fix and refine the original game first and then add stuff.
My trusty Sennheiser HD 280 Pros finally died on me (only the left side works), so I'm in the market for some new headphones. I want to switch over to earbuds/in ear headphones because I'm going to college next year and doubt I'd want to be walking around with big bulky headphones on.
Budget...
Well, I finally got everything together today (the case of course had to come a day later than everything else). This thing is so much better than I even imagined. I installed Vista Home Premium and it's smooth as hell. My 3dmark03 score quadrupled from my old system, and I was actually able...
This mobo is a 4-year old nforce2 mobo. I'm getting an entire new system (case, mobo, monitor, all the other hardware). Don't think I'll be RMAing it anytime soon. ;)
Turns out it wasn't a stick of RAM but my second Dimm slot. I guess I'll just have to live with 1GB instead of 1.5 for another few days (then I get to use 4GB ).
