Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thank you. I didn't realize heatsink orientation didn't matter as much as airflow around them :o. I guess a better approach would be a case design like the Apple G5 and a few other PC cases that have separate chambers.

You may be right..

and select NO MONITOR
all for 399

(turns off fan if it's cool enough)
yea they all snapped in. I guess I'll boot up anyways.. it should shutdown if it gets too hot :)
edit: nevermind... I didn't snap one of them in. Works fine now. Thanks.
I'm reseating the Intel HSF (the round one) on a socket 775 P4 for a friend and I'm not sure how to do this..
Do I turn the knobs clockwise then push them into the mobo?
or do I turn the counterclockwise, push in, then turn clockwise?
I tried it the second way, but the temps go up to the...
