Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I need a working socket 939 motherboard. Just needs to be mATX, have onboard video, and take 184-pin DDR. Please let me know what you've got.
Heatware under thuper, ebay feedback under bad_icon.
I know most cards now will support hardware HD decoding, but I don't know how exactly they handle it. Linux has been my desktop OS for years now, does the decoding work in any OS? At the moment I have a machine with an x2 4800+ and onboard geforce 7050 that seems like it really can't handle...
Slackware
Very fast and minimal, but I get everything I need. I can get it to boot in about 20 seconds and it runs asterisk right away. The only thing it *used to be missing* was slapt-get.
The ATI drivers work great. For a time I was using a 9800pro on my Debian box back in the spring. Now I've got my old 8500 in there. The install is awesome since it can customize it for your distro, and its click-through just like on windows.
Nvidia's drivers and Debian arent as friendly.
I used to love AVG but I got the latest version a couple weeks ago and it uses so much memory. I'm just going without now because firefox and common sense work perfectly.
I don't know if you've looked up IPCop nor not yet but its a very good software firewall that also acts as a router, but you'll need a switch to run mutliple PCs behind it.
I still have version 1.3 which supports RED (to internet), Orange (secure, DMZ), and Green (lan side) interfaces...
Something I can build a spare PC in.
I need s478, something around $150, definitely <$200.
One feature I would like is a built-in heatsink solution like heatpipes.
I have heat under the same name a whole 2 positive reviews. I don't trade like this much but I've had the account for more...
