Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Do you have one? Can I ask how you would mount it?
I've searched around and haven't found any good pics on how it can be mounted - most pictures online have folks hide them but I want to try to figure out a clean solution.
Build Considerations, Case Quirks, Objective, and Design Rules.
When I was shopping in 2021, I noticed that unplated copper blocks were no longer available from anybody, and it was a struggle to get anything due to shortages. On top of that, only a handful of folks offered blocks for the...
Fast forward to summer 2021.
During the pandemic, I had become tired of my very slow computer as bluescreens started to become more regular, so it was time to upgrade. And it was a great time to cut open all of my water bits and take pictures to show everyone what 6 years of no maintenance...
Background
I purchased this tower off Ebay in 2014 in an move to downsize from an original Thermaltake Level 10. At the time I wanted to build in memory to Dangerden so I kept as many as my parts on theme as possible, and I wanted an inverted setup. So I mounted a DD Monsoon D5 Reservoir upside...
Dangerden Tower 21 Build
Hi pals, in attempts to defeat my executive dysfunction, I am starting a log. I purchased MOST of these parts in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, and have been running this computer on air since, despite having water blocks and radiators laying around my...
Hey folks,
I'm at 99% in a build right now, and the only outstanding issue that I haven't solved is fan control.
I'm using 3 fans on a single dewire relay (only need 1 fan control), D5 Vario that doesnt need control. One temp sensor in the water. The way the system is set up right now, the...
Back for another bump from the grave. Still looking.
Also would be super down for CAD files, as I live near enough laser cutters to get this made for myself :)
Lots of people have tested this before you. You should do more reading before you commit.
You can start here. https://hardforum.com/threads/different-fans-either-side-of-radiator-disadvantages.1585700/#:~:text=Basically%2C%20air%20is%20being%20forced,burning%20out%20the%20motor%20sooner.
Its a cool idea, but it wont work like you think it will. Turbine effect will mean the stronger fan will do all the work, and the weaker fan will do nothing. You have to match your fans to see performance gains.
Just mount your fans in push or push/pull, and then run sufficient exhaust to get...
So, radiators tend to perform differently depending on fan type, speed, push vs push/pull, etc.
I've been using this roundup for years: https://www.xtremerigs.net/2015/02/11/radiator-round-2015/5/
The gist of it is, it shows you how each rad performs in watts, per fan speed and setup.
For a...
