I feel exactly the same way. How do you know you don't have a virus if you haven't scanned for them...same with spyware/malware. As has been said, not all nasties slow down your machine.
A cracked version is one that has been hacked (pirated). If it is done poorly, the program will operate, but many of the shortcut keys will not.
He found that the reason his copy wasn't working properly was that it was such a poorly hacked version.
is your 'My docs' folder in the default location, or have you moved it?
I have head of some issues with it being unable to find my docs to create a folder that it wants to create in there if it is not in the default c:\documents and settings\username...
It is not tied by any technical means, but by the license agreement. According to licensing, it should only be installed on the machine it was purchased with.
You have to have the meesage opened (not just preview pane)
Click on View, click on Encoding (you may have to expand the menu to see this option), click on More and select Arabic.
