Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Another thing to note here.. just because some people notice ghosting/blur, doesn't mean that everyone will. By the same token, just because some people don't notice it, doesn't mean it isn't there. The high to highest-end LCD's performance will vary from person to person. It really is up to the...
You said you pressed F6 and nothing happened? You should have at least gotten to a stage that asks for the SATA/RAID drivers to be used. Check to make sure that the SATA is enabled on your mobo (either via jumpers or in the BIOS) and you will need the proper drivers at the F6 stage.
Well, I ordered mine through a friend on ATI's site, and he gets a slight discount. That's the only real reason why I haven't simply picked up an X800 from a retail store or online store. *sigh* This discount better be worth the wait..
Hey all,
I recently set up my new system (in sig) and was wondering about the raid settings. I currently have 2 120gig WD sata drives which are set up independantly. I don't plan on using them in raid, so is there a jumper setting where I can disable the raid check on bootup? I checked the...
Yeah.. I've been using my Samsung 712N (12ms response time, 600:1 contrast ratio) for a while now and don't mind it in games. Mind you, you'll probably always get a better gaming experience with a CRT, but for those that aren't extremely picky (or don't notice), certain LCD's can be perfectly fine.
Quite right.. I don't feel like upgrading my mobo just to get a PCI-X vcard, which is why I'm trying to get an X800 XT PE. I guess I'll have to continue playing the waiting game for now
Heh :) well, you could always check the PCB print between the PCI slots. There should be "A8V" in white print followed by "Rev 2.00" in really small white print if you have the Revision 2 board. I checked mine (white box as well) and it turns out to be a 2.0 board. So I'm happy :D
And yeah, I...
Heh, well glad to hear that the situation has somewhat improved. You already tried what I was going to suggest with the fade levels, so that wasn't it. On my Altec Lansing 4100's, I had to configure a setting on the remote that brought the sound level up from the rear speakers to match the front...
I've seen pictures of the board box in reviews and they had some green on the front. That's why when I got my board and saw an all white box, I wondered if it was a Rev 1 or 2 board they sent me.
