Got mine from Amazon today, September manufacturing date. It also has a QC sticker over the ASUS branded tape, with clear tape on top. The ASUS tape was broken. It's unlikely both Amazon and Newegg would do that, it's probably ASUS doing another QC before sending them to retailers.
