Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks! Yes, she's really into building models and did a great job with these. The Chameleon took her two FULL days to build. Forgot to mention, the spider has 5 built-in LED "eyes", but needs new button batteries to function.
My daughter has a few models she built a while back that she now wants to let go - these all come fully assembled - no original packaging or instructions. They are fairly large and very detailed - no missing parts and in pristine, like new condition! All are solid metal and are pretty...
Exactly. While it may seem toward outward appearances that they are still developing a “game”, in reality they’ve morphed quite some time ago, whether intentionally or not, into an income generation and maintenance entity whose sole purpose now is really to maintain and secure that revenue...
All valid observations - guess I haven’t looked into some of the better, higher end AIO options in recent years. I get the convenience, especially for someone unfamiliar with or daunted by having to assemble all the components for a custom loop.
I’ve never liked AIO cooling solutions. The whole idea behind water cooling is to gain cooling efficiencies that are much higher than what can be had via air cooling, as well as to have greatly reduced noise, in a setup that’s both reliable and performs long term. AIO solutions typically use...
You definitely got lucky with that leak! The cap fitting was probably over torqued a little too high onto the threads… my guess is that material fatigue over time set in from the stress and it caused that crack. You might be able to source a used replacement water block for it off of eBay...
Keychron would be my top choice as well for a full sized board. Just get the Keychron Q6 Max and then go buy the exact keycaps you really want/like for it. There’s a reason all the modern, higher end mechanical keyboards allow everything to be heavily modded… and it’s exactly for meeting the...
Heh! I would have probably done the exact same thing as I’m a sucker for whenever I see a new driver or firmware upgrade… Ooohh, shiney!!! Starting to get a bit smarter now that I’m an old fart and at least wait for “release.x” drivers where the “x” isn’t a zero… having been burned way to many...
Nothing will be hooked up to anything AC or come near it within the garage (this will be a purely POE run) and the line is going to be well buried (2ft down) using shielded, burial rated CAT6a cable running within a conduit underground all the way up to the garage. So I am wondering why suggest...
