Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
well i just got this ps on replacement a few weeks ago tops and i have the old hd unplugged at the moment so im running on bare minimum with no dvd player even. Still experiencing problems. Hopefully I can RMA my card with EVGA
Yesterday I enabled PNP in the cmos so the O/S would hopefully control the IRQ numbers. Regardess last night I got home and the system was blue screened saying that windows detected a critical error or something of that sort and had to shut down. I turned off my computer and then it would not...
The thing is the system will run fine for a few days then it will blue screen, ill have problems and leave it. ill come back later and it starts up just fine. In addition after reinstalling Vista for some reason I can not install Acrobat Reader, it will extract and then crash saying that the...
ASUS P5K Deluxe
8800GTS640MB (old one)
Ballistix 2gb
Lite on DVDRW
Seasonic S12 550W
C2Duo e6420 (that was running overclocked at 3.2 stable for the first 6-8 months of its life)
Windows Vista Ultimate
The system was stable for 6-8 months. Then I was having stability problems and I...
I have a ninja on my P5k Deluxe, the only problem I ran into was that the fan that mounts on the side of the HS blocks the first memory slot so I just mounted the fan on the bottom side of the HS instead and it seems to be doing just fine although I haven't got this beast overclocked yet.
Hello, I am finally getting around to building a new system, its a been a while as im still on a 2500xp. Anyway, I've pretty much got everything dialed in for the system besides the motherboard which I can't seem to decide on. I would really like to avoid spending $225+ on a mobo when I know...
Update: I am now just running off of one router, the wireless is now directly connected to the cable modem running on default settings and same the exact same problem.
Its like being back on 56k but worse and less reliable.
Ok, first I suppose I'll start off with my setup. Upstairs I have a Linksys 8 Port router with 3 systems wired into that. From the first port of the 8 port router I am running a cable downstairs through the wall, into the next room over from my wireless PC. The cable connects to the first...
I'm putting a system together, nothing abnormally power intensive. 7800GT, 3800x2, A8N-Premium, 2gb ram, 1 hd, dvd burner ect and want to future proof it for an SLI setup. Originally I was going to get the Seasonic S12-500watt PS but when looking for a case I was checking out the Sonata II...
They are just normal pc's with touchscreen lcds and usually HP printers. The LCDs are about 500 i think for the 15in touchscreens and the printers I cant recall. Anyway, there are two types of printers usually, the silent lasers for dining rooms and then the normal noisy ones for the kitchen...
The HSF is fine. The temps are very low in the bios and I even had the system underclocked to ~1100mhz at one point to make sure.
I'll have to try out this 350watt Enermax I have here. Without the 9800Pro in there and just 1 cdrom and 1 HD there really isnt much power being used.
This is getting even more weird..
I switched out the 9800Pro with my 4400 and now when trying to boot into setup it gets some kind of "Not enough virtual memory error" I cant read the rest because it restarts too quickly.
As far as I know it does not freeze in the bios, just now I left it running in the bios for about 35-45 min and its still going fine. A motherboard short would be odd since the problem came up at random and the system hadnt been moved in weeks.
