    Since this thread was hijacked I am updating it. I RMA'd my original 8800gt and the new one boots into windows. So the biostar geforce 6100-M9 is compatible with the 8800gt. I haven't had time to reinstall drivers and try games, but I assume any problems now will be with the video card itself...

    I replaced the RAM in my macbook with G.Skill. It does fine. The modules I removed were hynix. They were not micron. The g.skill seems to be a popular replacement option for macbooks and macbook pros on newegg.
