Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I agree with Terpfen. Go through the calibration process. If that doesn't work try resetting the SMC and the NVRAM. A google search will tell you how to do these.
I purchased the $799 base model. I than got a kit to add a drive to the Mac Mini from OWC and added a Sandisk 240GB SSD so now I have the original 1TB plus the SSD.
The kit comes with everything you need including step by step instructions with pictures. Took me about 30 minutes to add...
They aren't going to do it anytime soon because they are to busy putting out crap products like Windows 8. When they get done with that and are still in business than maybe.
Let see if I've got this straight. Bill Gates gives billions to keep people alive in Africa and other places, and Steve Jobs has been making products at Asian companies that pollute the environment and eventually kill people.
Sounds like population stabilization to me. They both did...
I've been run the GM for the past week and have to say that I am impressed. The new gestures with the Trackpad take a little getting used to but are more logical than the old ones, especially the scroll. The only real problem I see is that people are going to need at least 4GB of memory to run...
I have a 3G and my battery life started to suck. Found out you have to run the battery down completely every so often and than let it charge overnight. This worked with mine. Look at the vary bottom of this page. http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html
When was the last time you ran your Maintenance Scripts, cleared the caches and repaired your permissions? A good program to do this with is "Maintenance".
Actually the hard drive is easy to replace (If you can build your own PC, it's a breeze.) I just replaced my 640GB with a 3TB drive. You just have to take your time and watch out for the small connectors and wires. Some talk of getting dust between the LCD and glass. You can fix this with a...
I think Unity has bite them in the butt. It's to Fisher Price and it has lost a lot of the customization that was in the previous release. I know you can drop back to regular Gnome, but I think that should be default and Unity as an options. The 11.10 is really going to bite them in butt. It...
I got my first Mac in '09 and loved it so much that I replaced all the families computers with Mac. I gave all of the Windows PC's to charity. I discovered that for gaming the PC was way better so I put together a PC for that purpose. Still use the Mac's for just about everything. Much...
I added another fan on my H60 for a push pull configuration and it really rocks now. My cpu is a AMD Phenom X6 1055T. With the stock cooler it usually idles at 28-32C and goes up to 57C under load. With the H60 in a push pull set up the cpu idles at 19C and goes up to 36C under load. I...
If this law passes we may as well all walk into the Library of Congress and demand to have the Constitution and than tear it up and burn the pieces.
Thomas Jefferson said "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."
So let me get this straight. This guy is pissed that the carriers are trying to make the phones more secure by preventing hacking of the phone. Where is the problem? The average user wants a phone that is secure. If your a hack than find away around it, but don't expect the makers of the...
Just thought I'd give you a heads up. I have the same board and I discovered that it does not like 4 sticks of memory. I've seen online where other owners have discovered the samething. Had to get two sticks of 4GB to get the system to work.
