Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
most of the time it will be compatible, but your ram will only be running as fast as the slowest stick in there, so buying faster ram won't do you any good, unless you take the slow stick out
how come on laptops the touchpad thingy that moves the mouse around, only moves the mouse when there isdirect contact between you skin and that pad. Any other object that you put on it the mouse will not move, even if you put your sleeve over your finger it doesnt move:confused:
but (im prob wrong) the memory bandwidth being higher than cpu's is a waste, because the cpu could only retrieve information at it's fsb, or vise versa.
i've never had a water cooled system, but my thoughts are that a resevior plastic cup size would not help the cooling. water is being pumped in and out of it too quickly for it to have time for the water to cool off. or am i wrong?
i was just thinking, when you're ocing your fsb and say you change you ram ratio to 5:4 to get a higher fsb, your effective oc would only be 4/5 of the set fsb, right? because the cpu could only talk to the ram at 4/5 of the fsb:confused:
maybe your agp slot is dirty??
happened to me, after while of games i would get a pink screen with streaks on it, cleaned the slot with some alcohol, and never happened again
939 = may?? i think
the p4ee is not a good thing, very expensive and the fx53 is still better than it, unless you're doing encoding/decoding of course, which in a workstation you may be doing alot. PCIX will be out in a couple months i believe, but won't be popular for maybe a year, because...
mosfets are usually the hottets chips in your computer. Some guy awhile ago used an infared camera and posted the pictures of it on this forum, the mosfets were above 50 degrees celsius on load. There heat won't effect your oc, unless you're going to extremes. Superglue isn't a good conducter...

go to the cheapo store(it's a small store isn't it?) and tell them that you had to open it to plug in floppy, but now power supply is dead. a cheap power supply is like 15 dollars, and they'll probably be understanding and nice enough to grant you your new power supply
nothing is wrong with refurbs from major stores (newegg etc.) just dont get it from ebay. New egg wouldn't sell the refurb unless it was very, very close to it's brand new state, and if it doesnt work just send it in for warranty
