Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Those of us who "suffered" through the older bios revisions need not anymore. The (not exactly new) latest bios cures a few things:
Unlocks the gpu/mem clocks to their standard 500/600
Fixes some BSOD issues
Changes CPU fan heat-speed ratios, which in turn seems to allow the CPU to run cooler...
I think that list is quite inaccurate. For me, I have a Mobility HD2600. It lists the card as having DDR2 and GDDR3 as possible memory configurations. As true as that is, it seems to benchmark on the DDR2 side, pushing the card way down.
3dmark06 @ 1024x768 gives 3100ish, it says. I run...

The system requirements portion is especially interesting... (read: there's more than just bland system specs.. somebody must be having a last day at work).
For simple portable backups and/or transfer:
Vantec Nexstar3 2.5" eSATA + Seagate Momentus 5400 2.5" SATA in any size flavour you wish.
Not the most inexpensive, but really handy as it just runs off the power from 2 usb ports and has eSATA compatibility which is always a plus and only a few...
Don't forget about onboard audio -- most onboard audio solutions are notorious for creating background noise that manifests through the audio ports. However, the interference pattern will change when you type, move the mouse, utilize the video card, hard drive, NIC, et cetera.. so if it's a...
You can also try "Restoration" from here. I just used it earlier today at a LAN when I was transfering a huge amount of files between drives and deleted the directory by accident (too big to fit in recycle bin which I mistakenly pressed Enter on the verify message box)
Also used it again...
Granted, I've got a PVA panel (viewsonic vp2030b), and I had the blurry text.. but that was only over DVI-A at 1600x1200. Once I got it in DVI-D, the text is pixel perfect, 0 ghosting, almost perfect colour gradient, and colour fidelity like I've never seen before. see sig for my thoughts on...
As I currently have a 17" lcd, I try to run in native as much as possible because I find everything looks terrible. When a game doesn't support 5:4, I run the next highest 4:3. No need to do that anymore since I'm in the market for a VP2030B.
2430 craps out, 2403 (267x9) seems perfectly stable
not impressed, but couldn't really care that much considering it's still a 600mhz increase. saved me ~$400, and I'm not into the highest numbers game.
Exactly. Besides, even if you get a not-so-great 165 (like me.. 0551, major tweaking before it reaches 2.5GHz stable), you've still saved 40-45% in cash on an "equivalent", but baseline, X2 4800+ :)
I've had some experience with 4x 5-LED UV versions given in the link above, and they're actually not that great. Not only do they not give light as pictured above, but only that which it shines directly on will actually be lit up (since LEDs do not include any kind of diffusing). They're point...
No, you're not the only one.. I've got a Big Typhoon waiting for the rest of its home.. It's huge, it's not very asthetically pleasing (atleast, not compared to the Zalmans), but it's extremely quiet and it works incredibly well.
I vote for the BT, but only if you haven't looked at it yet...
